The brand new Championship endurance race on the Snetterton 300 Circuit. A full 12hr race Saturday 12th November 2011 from 09:01 - 21:01, non stop endurance relay race for the Mazda MX5's

Due to the unprecedented success of the Ma5da MX5 Championship during 2011 and the average capacity entries of over 90 cars per event, the BRSCC in conjunction with MSV and Ma5da Racing have introduced a new concept in endurance racing, by producing the first ever single make multiple class 12hr endurance race. Ma5da 12hr Winter Enduro Championship.

Designed to provide an excellent oppertunity to competivley race your Mazda MX5 race car over a unique 12hr race. Single or two car teams with up to 6 drivers per team and all MAZDA MX5 Mk1, Mk3 or MX150R race cars are eligible providing compliant with their respective regulations and standard "Blue Book" MSA requirements.

An excellent opportunity to demonstrate your driving ability and work as part of a team to receive the acclaim of winning a recognised MSA Championship or a cost effective way of testing your MX5 race car against others in preparation for the 2012 Ma5da MX5 Championships. With the added bonus of free Hospitality race centre and a dedicated 2hr TV program it will make it a race event not to be missed!

How does it work?

The Endurance race is completely separate from the annual events.

It is a new concept in Ma5da Racing, where you may enter a team as a "single" Car or "two" car team with up to six drivers. The race is a single event for the duration of 12 hours with all the thrills and action of driver changes, refuelling and pit stops. To add to the excitement it is projected that the last 5 hours of the race will be in the dark, so full car lighting required.

Qualifying is on the Friday 11th November, one hour in the daylight and one hour in the dark. Each driver must complete a minimum of three laps each per session and the fastest team lap will depict your starting position on the rolling grid. The starting procedure is a two by two formation rolling start behind the safety car.

The registration for the 12hr Endurance is included in the one off price of entry for the 12hr Endurance race at £1,700.00 per Team.

The Venue and Organising Club

The race is being held at Snetterton Race Track on the 300 circuit, organised by the Ma5da Racing, the BRSCC and in association with MSV.
