The final POWERNights of 2008 is looming fast, and spaces are still available for Ma5da MX5’s entries. To add to the excitement of the Ma5da Races, we have confirmed Paul O’Neil, touring car and GT driver will be Joining Ma5da Racing at POWERNights on the 21st August 2008. To this effect, Motorsport News will be doing a one page feature article on Ma5da Racing.

As normal, the races will be televised by MotorsTV and will ensure the same high level of coverage for existing and potential sponsors. The organizer, Motion Works, have worked hard to restructure the entertainment and off-track appeal to spectators. They have secured a pit stop challenge with Silverstone themselves, a remote buggy racing circuit in the main paddock, and a live band. To this effect they are expecting a massive 7,000 spectators.

The on-track format is to be the same as previous events, with practice, qualifying and two races for all groups. There are already 105 entries across the five groups, so this really does promise to be an event not to missed.
