Scalextric car wins Mx5 Championship
Tom Roche secures the MaX5 Championship at Oulton Park by finishing 2nd.
The 2008 Championship season was dominated by Tom's precision driving and his incredible performances in the wet. Smooth, consistent and with few mistakes Tom took the Championship by 2 points from Paul Sheard with Richard Breland taking 3rd place.

Ma5da racing have joined forces with the MX5 owners club and have secured a lunch time Parade lap for all the Owners Club who attend. It is currently indicated that in excess of 30 cars will be there in support of Ma5da Racing. Sunday sees 2 x Ma5da Racing Challenge races. A full 38 car grid being made up by 17 Mr2 mk1 and 21 mx5's. Racing starts at 11:00 and as always a comprehensive day of racing with 10 events in 5 hours and exciting day out brought to you by the Classic Sports Car club.
