10th October 2008 - Ma5da racing confirms full TV coverage for the 2009 season.

TV deal guarantees millions of viewers for Ma5da Racing in 2009.

An exclusive deal has now been signed for full 1 hour TV programs for every round of the Ma5da Racing calendar for 2009 and the last round of the 2008 season at Brands Hatch on Sunday 9th November.

The 1 hour program will include Driver and Sponsor interviews, award presentations and most importantly full coverage of the races. The coverage is to be shown under the "Race and Rally UK" branding but will be a 1 hour Ma5da Racing exclusive.

"Race and Rally UK" is the concept of Manchester based AMG Television Productions Company and is shown on MotorsTV and Channel 5. The Ma5da Racing season will produce over 60 hours of TV exposure introducing MX5 racing to millions of viewers. This in turn helps Drivers to attract individual sponsors to support their racing budget. Ma5da Racing is currently producing a full 2009 brochure that will be made available to each and every Driver to assist them when approaching potential sponsors.

"It is essential that Ma5da Racing continues to improve the profile of MX5 racing in the UK during 2009. TV coverage is vital to this process and by being able to reach a wider viewing audience it increases sponsorship potential for both the Ma5da Series and drivers respectively. This is just one of the 2009 enhancements that have been negotiated and further announcements will be made over the coming weeks. We also re-confirm these additions will be at "no cost" to the Ma5da drivers and are being made possible through agreed sponsorship"
- Jonathan Blake, Ma5da Racing.

"We are delighted to have the Ma5da Series on-board to further enhance and promote our extensive UK Club Motorsport coverage, under the "Race and Rally UK" branding."
- Andy Glossop, Executive Producer, AMG Television Productions.
