Dear Competitor,

Firstly, on behalf of the BRSCC, we would like to apologise for the fact that your scheduled activities at Donington Park did not take place. The circumstances leading to the abandonment of the event were completely outside of our control.

We are currently formulating a report into the circumstances leading to curtailment of the event. On completion of this, we will then be in a position to determine any possible rescheduling of races.

We will of course communicate further updates via your Championship/Series Co-ordinators.

Ma5da Racing Committee Statement

Proposed replacement race - Donington Park Saturday 1st/Sunday 2nd August 2009

"Ma5da Racing are currently working with the BRSCC and MSA to re-organise the cancelled race. It is expected to take place on 1st/2nd of August 2009 @ Donington in support of the Super League racing weekend.

In order to keep costs to the Driver to a minimum it is also being investigated to run 2 additional races in the same weekend and remove one Event from the 2009 Calendar which is being considered and an anouncement will be made as soon as possible. The round in question for being dropped is Mallory Park?

Please note this is not final and is only in discussion! We will confirm in due course and as soon as possible. Please pencil the dates into your diary accordingly.

As the race was cancelled it also renders the qualification 'null and void' and a new qualification will be run for the grid for the replacement round. Thank you for your patience"
