With 18 rounds completed of the 2009 Ma5da MX5 Championship Tom Roach is set to take the Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend.
After a shared season of wins between Jonathan Greensmith and Tom Roche, the top two contenders are set for a final showdown this weekend. With a full Grid of 32 identical Ma5da MX5's and crucial Championship points at stake, Brands Hatch will see a full action packed duel between all contenders in the top ten. Tom leads the field by 21 points but a simple mistake could see that all change in the final two races of the season. The battle for points to close the season is just as critical to all drivers in the top ten with anyone of five drivers capable of taking 5th place and getting inside the top six positions and reserving their rightful place in the 2009 awards.

An action packed grid for the final 2 rounds of the 2009 Ma5da MX5 Championship. 32 cars compete in the double header all action packed race day at Brands Hatch, on the Indy Circuit with full driver hospitality and all races televised on Channel 5, MotorsTV (UK and Europe) and Men and Motors. Spectators are set to see some close wheel to wheel action right across the capacity grid to decide the 2009 Ma5da MX5 Champion and with nearly 60 cars registered, this years winner will have proven to be the best of the best.

The grid is expected to be separated by less than a couple of seconds with anyone of the first 10 cars being capable of taking the race victory.
