...from 0 to full MSA outline approval in less than 9 months

With 14 cars now built and 7 in commission Ma5da Racing is proud to announce confirmed MSA outline Championship approval for the 2011 Ma5da MX5 Cup, which it is quickly following in the footsteps of the MX5 mk1 single make, single class Championship.
If you have not seen the 2000cc MX5 mk3’s race before, you can look forward to some very close racing with some great battles all the way down the field. You will see the speed and handling capacity of these appealing race cars which start from only £12,500 for a fresh build and with a running cost of less than £8,000 per season. Why not follow the action and come and see the cars on track at Croft at the end of September, the 2010 Winter Championship at Donington and Brands Hatch or even the 2011 (20 round Full MSA Championship).
“Since the launch of the new MK3 Mazda MX5 back in December 2009, there has been strong interest and uptake for the all new Ma5da MX5 CUP. Having been run as a Series during 2010 and a full Championship in 2011 it is already proving to be a popular choice with inexpensive budget requirements, high profile through TV Coverage and Driver Hospitality and equal car performance across the grid, ensuring the front is dominated by driver ability and not budget.

Now with even more power, over 180bhp and excellent handling via a controlled ECU re-map (Sanspeed), control GAZ shocks, Fedderal Tyres, Rota wheels and Klarius Sport performance exhaust...
... you can expect to see capacity grids in 2011 of equal performance cars where driver ability and not budget will put you in pole position.
At Ma5da Racing we have been working hard with manufacturers, Drivers and suppliers to ensure that the 2011 Championship is cost efficient and is accessible to both professional race car preparers and first time privateers.
Come and see the cars at Autosport in January 2011, with demonstrations in the live action arena or the Racecar Live show at Brands Hatch in November 2010”
